To My Mom



Mom, I truly don't know what I would have done without you throughout this whole journey. You have done so much for me & I really do consider you my hero! I can't imagine going through this without you & you have supported me every step of the way. From picking out my gown, to helping me prepare for the pageant & attending every event with me I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. You are my best friend & my number one. I know I can count on you with anything & everything. I love you & thank you for all your dedication & support you put into going along with me throughout this journey.

To My Dearest Sister Queen



Amanda, I want to just take the time out to tell you how much I truly look up to you in every way. You obtain so much talent, beauty, intelligence and love that makes me look at you as the sister God forgot to give to me. You have showed me & taught me more than you can possibly imagine. I could not have asked for a better sister queen. No matter win or loose you are MY winner and nothing could ever change that! I love you with all my heart and I am beyond excited to continue our year together as sister queens. 

Miss New York Outstanding Teen Pageant 2013



Tonight was an incredible experience and it was something I truly will never forget. I was able to meet so many wonderful people through the Miss New York Organization and I am forever grateful for this opportunity! I can't wait to continue to do good with my Miss Staten Island OT crown and make Staten Island prouder than ever! It is my honor to serve Staten Island! I love you all! Miss Staten Island Outstanding Teen, 2nd Runner up.

Teen Night Out


Teen Night Out with my Miss New York Outstanding Teen Class of 2013 sisters was a blast! We visited Times Square, took pictures with so many people & later on for dinner we headed to Brooklyn for some yummy pizza! Finally, to end off the night we walked over to the Brooklyn Bridge Park and took some photos while we ate our delicious ice cream cones! I could not have asked for a better night with my amazing sister queens!

Meals On Wheels Zumba Fundraiser

The Meals On Wheels Zumba Fundraiser was not only a huge success,but was a ton of fun! My pageant sister Miss Southern New York's Outstanding Teen Alexa Molley held an amazing event which raised money for her platform Meals On Wheels. It was a great event to not only raise funds for Meals On Wheels,but it was a great time to enjoy some quality time with my pageant sisters while doing zumba! Thank you  Alexa for letting me take part in your wonderful fundraiser!

Families Helping Families Serving Children With Special Needs Fundraiser


Families Helping Families Summer is Here Party was really an amazing experience that I will take with me along my time as Miss Staten Island's Outstanding Teen. I was able to meet so many wonderful kids who truly are amazing inside and out. It was great to see them dance,play games & most importantly have a wonderful time! I want to thank the Families Helping Families Organization for letting me be apart of my very first event with you & I look forward to being apart of many events to come in the future! 

Staten Island Yankee Stadium Opening Night Game




 The Staten Island Yankee Game was so much fun on opening night! I was able to help raise money for On Your Mark, as well as watch my sister queen Miss Staten Island Amanda Lee Alicea sing the National Anthem & God Bless America! It was also so great to meet the P.S.36 Band! It was a great night of fun & enjoyment with my friends & family! 



Alzheimer's Foundation Of Staten Island's Annual Car Show

The Alzheimer's Foundation of Staten Island's Annual Car show was so enjoyable! My poppy who inspired me to make Alzheimer's my platform used to take me to car shows as a little girl. This event brought back so many happy memories between my poppy & I. I was able to speak about my platform and how the Alzheimer's Foundation of Staten Island is truly wonderful when it comes to fundraising and raising awareness for this great cause. This was a great event & I am happy that I was apart of it! 

Pageant Prep Day

Pageant Prep Day was awesome! So happy I was able to share it with my  pageant sisters! I enjoyed sharing our platforms with one another, doing our talents, as well as getting to know each other better! This was an awesome way to prepare us for Miss New York's Outstanding Teen Pageant in July! 

My LaGuardia Family

I wanted to congratulate my LaGuardia Dance Major Family on a wonderful performance for our Junior Project Show! You all have given me so much support along my journey as Miss Staten Island's Outstanding Teen & I'm truly so lucky to have such a supportive family like you all! We will forever be a family & thank you for getting me through each day at LaGuardia! 

Staten Island Memorial Day Parade on Forest Avenue



The Staten Island Memorial Day Parade on Forest Avenue was incredible! It was such a beautiful day  & I was happy to share it with my sister queens! Everyone looked amazing and very patriotic with all of their red, white & blue clothing! The best part of this parade was seeing the children's faces light up when they saw all of the queens in their cars driving by in the parade! Staten Island came together to have another successful Memorial Day Parade!

I am so excited to share this experience with each and every one of you talented young ladies! We all share something in common & that is we are leaders in our community & role models to teens in our hometowns! I can't wait for pageant week & to make memories with you all that will last a lifetime! 

Costco Event Supporting Children's Miracle Network Hospitals

        Costco was  generous enough to make this delicious cake to support the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. My Miss New York OT classmates & I gave out pieces of this delicious cake made by Costco to shoppers entering the store! This was a great way to raise money for the CMN, which is The Miss America Organizations National Platform. Thank you everyone who made this day so successful and donated time to such a great cause. 

Great Kills Memorial Day Parade

 The Great Kills Memorial Day was such a fun way for Staten Island to come together & celebrate Memorial Day! So happy I was able to share this day with my pageant sisters, the Miss Staten Island Organization, as well as the schools that marched in the parade with me! It was great to see Staten Island come together to honor our veterans who are true heros.Thank you for making this such a fun & exciting parade! 

Alzheimer's Foundation Of Staten Island's Annual Conference

So honored to have been able to speak at the Alzheimer's Foundation Of Staten Island's Annual Conference. Being a part of such a great foundation that encourages me to bring my platform forward and continue to raise awareness for Alzheimers is such a blessing. The Alzheimer's Foundation of Staten Island continues to help my platform grow & helps me grow as a person! This was another successful conference & I learned so much information about Alzheimer's that I will take along with me  to help my platform grow throughout my journey as Miss Staten Island's Outstanding Teen.

March Of Dimes Walk for Premature Babies

The March Of Dimes Walk for Premature Babies was such a wonderful event. I was so thankful to have met such adorable and amazing children, as well as there families. It was awesome to see how many schools all over Staten Island came out to the Staten Island Mall to support such a wonderful cause like the March Of Dimes. 

CTV Alzheimer's Awareness Show: One Teen's Platform

Lights, Camera, Action! Wow, this was my first time ever doing a 28 minute television interview for Staten Island's very own cable tv station! The Alzheimer's Foundation of Staten Island gave me the privilege to be on their CTV show. On this episode of the show entitled One Teen's Platform I was interviewed where I spoke about my platform Alzheimer's Awareness & Support. I also spoke about some of the different things I have been doing during my time serving as Miss Staten Island's Outstanding Teen! This was an amazing experience and this prepared me for many more interviews and public speaking events to come! 

Speak Up for Children with Apraxia Walk

 Speak up for Children with Apraxia Walk was awesome! It was great to see so many people come out & support such a great cause! Thank you Miss Richmond County 2013 Alyssa Marie DePaolis for creating such an amazing event to promote your platform. Being part of such a great family with these girls makes being Miss Staten Island's Outstanding Teen that more fun! I love you girls! 

Project Homefront: Supporting Our Troops Zumba Fundraiser

      I had such an enjoyable time at Miss Richmond County's Outstanding Teen's Gianna Roccaro Zumba Fundraiser supporting her platform Project Homefront. This event was a great way to have fun, work on our fitness, but most importantly show support for our troops that risk their lives for us everyday! Thank you Gianna for letting me take part in your successful event!  

Stand Together For Autism Resource Fair

Stand Together For Autism Resource Fair was amazing! This resource fair taught me so many different things about Autism & was very informative for family members who have loved ones with Autism. The highlight of this event was meeting all of the amazing children. I truly hope I touched their hearts the way they touched mine. Each and every child was so inspirational & are beautiful in their own way! I am so honored to have taken part in such a great event. Meeting children who inspire me like these children did make me proud to be Staten Island's Outstanding Teen.

I also was honored to have met Staten Island's Borough President James Molinaro! Thank you for letting me share in this wonderful event with you! 

St. George Theatre's Lights, Camera, Fashion Fundraiser


St. George Theatre's Annual Lights, Camera, Fashion Fundraiser was such a great way for young girls to express their inner "fashionista"at the Hilton Garden Inn.The girls  modeled clothes which were sponsored by Staten Island's very own Country Mouse Boutique & Clothing Store & Macy's.  All proceeds were to benefit the newly renovated St. George Theatre. Thank you Dr. Graceland Santos for inviting me to this lovely event. I had such an amazing time meeting all of these beautiful divas & watching model their beautiful outfits on that runway like the fashonistas that they are! 



The Great Kills Little League Parade


The Great Kills Little League Parade was such an awesome experience! It was so great to have met so many amazing little league players that have such a passion for baseball! A highlight of this event was the showing of the beautiful 9/11 Memorial which can be seen at the very own Great Kills Little League of Staten Island. It truly was a beautiful ceremony that touched my heart and especially touched the hearts of family members that lost loved ones on 9/11. It was such a great way for Staten Island to come together & celebrate opening day of the season at Great Kills Little League! 

Miss America Homecoming Events

Never in my life did I ever think I would have the honor of standing next to Miss America! Mallory Hagan truly is a beautiful person inside and out. Over the course of these few events that I got to know her she taught me so much that I will bring along with me throughout my journey as Miss Staten Island's Outstanding Teen. She inspired me to keep moving forward with my platform Alzheimer's Awareness & Support, but most importantly she taught me to always reach for the stars and follow my dreams because dreams really do come true! 







I was so honored to meet the owners of The Hilton Garden Inn on Staten Island Lois & Richard Nicotra. They are such amazing advocates within the community & I am very thankful to have met such wonderful people! I also wanted to congratulate them on there beautiful new opening of Above, which was the location of Mallory Hagan's first Miss America Homecoming event! It truly was an amazing night & it wouldn't have been so successful without the love & support you put in. Thank you so much & it was a pleasure to meet you both! 

Staten Island's St. Patrick's Day Parade

The St. Patrick's Day Parade in Staten Island was a blast! This was my first parade as Miss Staten Island's Outstanding Teen! I was able to meet  so many people within Staten Island and celebrate St. Patrick's Day with my sister queens! Even though it was extremely cold that day, it was an unforgettable experience that I will take with me along my journey as Miss Staten Island's Outstanding Teen! 

Alzheimer's Foundation Of Staten Island's Annual Forget-Me-Not Gala

I had the privilege in taking part of such a beautiful event with the Alzheimer's Foundation of Staten Island. The Annual Forget-Me-Not Gala was a huge success and I had the honor in presenting the Youth Award of the Year. Along with presenting this award, I was able to share with everyone why my platform Alzheimer's Awareness & Support is so dear to my heart. I am so glad that I was invited to not only be apart of this event with the Alzheimer's Foundation of Staten Island, but shared my story on why Alzheimer's Awareness & Support is my platform. 

Groundhog Day at the Staten Island Zoo

My sister queens & I had so much fun at the Staten Island Zoo with Groundhog Chuck! It was a great way to kick off our fun filled year as title holders! 

United We Dance Beyond the Stars: Hurricane Sandy Dance Fundraiser

Fierce Dance Company of Staten Island was 1 of 20 Dance Studios that joined in support at this amazing dance convention! It was a great way to not only express our passion for dance, learn from talented choreographers, but give back to the victims of Hurricane Sandy. 

Miss Staten Island Pageant January 26, 2013

On January 26, 2013 I was crowned Miss Staten Island's Outstanding Teen and this showed me that dreams really do come true ! I continue to not only advocate for my platform: Alzheimer's Awareness & Support throughout my year as Miss Staten Islands Outstanding Teen, but encourage others throughout my community to stand up for this cause in a positive way. I am beyond thrilled to serve as a positive role model for Staten Island, as well as teens throughout my community just like me! Any girls dreams can come true when you put your mind and heart to it !
